About me:

Hi, my name is Sharon and I am a massage therapist who also offers sports therapy, yoga and hypnotherapy. I have been practising for over six years and provide a variety of services to help people feel their best.

My philosophy is that the body has natural healing properties but sometimes it needs some extra attention or encouragement. Together we can work on whatever you need from an injury prevention program to stress relief – all with the goal of making your life easier, healthier and more balanced!

Whether it’s for relaxation or rehabilitation from an injury, The Zen Den provides a holistic approach to wellness by combining mind-body therapies with physical fitness. Through this work, I want to empower people of all ages, shapes and sizes so they can live their best lives – both inside and out.

I provide sports massage that caters not only to athletes of all levels but also to non-athletes who enjoy a relaxing deep tissue massage.

I specialise in sports injuries and in pre and post-event massage therapy to enhance sports performance and to aid recovery. My techniques are the perfect solution for those athletes looking to take their performance and recovery one step higher.

Yoga

I am a qualified yoga instructor and trained with The British Wheel of Yoga. I offer Hatha yoga and classes are suitable for people of all ages and abilities.

My ambition is to share my knowledge of yoga with others and provide you with the transformative and practical tools to enhance your physical and emotional well-being and provide a deeper sense of self.

In the midst of these times when we are so disconnected from ourselves and each other, it is my hope to help you find a connection with peace in your body through physical movement as well as emotional release through deep breathing techniques and the added bonus of achieving a healthier more energetic and toned body.

Did you know everybody goes through a trance like hypnosis on a day to day basis? As in, when we’re daydreaming, deep in thought or watching TV?

I am a trained clinical hypnotherapist and I specialise in traditional hypnosis. My goal is to enable to you feel better about yourself and your life by resolving a problem or concern that’s preventing you from living life to the full. We can work together to overcome any issues to help you to start thinking and feeling more positive about yourself and your life.

I provide a safe space where clients can experience a deep sense of relaxation in order to bring about lasting change. Hypnosis is an effective method that allows the body’s natural healing system to do what it does best-heal itself.

My husband and I have attended Sharon’s yoga classes and have both had several massages from her. Sharon’s yoga classes are excellent. She takes time with the poses explaining what you are doing and the benefits of the poses. She also corrects you if you’re not in the correct position! The classes are normally an hour and a half long, which is fantastic as you can properly relax into the poses and have a proper Shavasana! She provides all the necessary equipment if you don’t have it. Sharon’s massages are fantastic! She really takes her time to get to the cause of the problem. I always feel a lot better and totally relaxed after a massage. My husband had a lower back problem which caused sciatica down his bum and down to his calf - Sharon took time to work her way into the problem areas. We both feel her massages are deep and relaxing. Sharon is a lovely person who cares about others.
